If an account has been set up for you, you should have gotten an automated welcome email from Schoolrunner. Follow the instructions in that email to log in for the first time.
If you did not receive an email, your account may not be set up yet, or it may have been set up with a different email address. Check with your school's Schoolrunner admin to ensure you're using the same address they used to configure your account. Generally speaking, your Schoolrunner account will be tied to your school email address and will match whatever is in your SIS (PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, etc.).
If you're trying to log in for the first time and didn't receive a welcome email, you can also try one of these techniques:
- Click the "Forgot your password?" link and enter your school email address. If an account is set up for you, you'll get an email that allows you to set a new password. More here.
- If your school email is hosted by Gmail and your school has enabled signing in with Google, use the Google button on the login screen. Schoolrunner will check to see if there's an account tied to your Gmail address.
- If you have a Clever account and your school has enabled signing in with Clever, use the Clever button on the login screen. Schoolrunner will check to see if there's an account tied to the same email as your Clever account.
Lastly, note that it's not possible to create your own account from scratch in Schoolrunner. You can only log in if Schoolrunner already has an existing record for you, either from your SIS or from your Schoolrunner admin setting up your account.
If you've successfully logged in to Schoolrunner in the past, but are having issues logging back in, try resetting your password according to item #1 above. (Even if you use Google or Clever, you can use the "Forgot your password?" link to set a password on your Schoolrunner account.)
If you generally use Google or Clever to sign in, make sure that you're logged in to the correct Google or Clever account when attempting to access Schoolrunner.
